About Us

Campus Safety and Emergency Services was formed in the fall of 2014 in response to student needs and organizational efficiency.

The reorganization aligns student safety, security and emergency services, and permits a sharper focus on student interests related to safe transportation, proactive response to campus and off campus personal safety issues, crime prevention, and emergency preparedness, response and communication.

Anthony Callisto, Jr. heads the unit as the University’s Senior Vice President for Safety and Chief Law Enforcement Officer. Callisto reports directly to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Amir Rahnamay-Azar.
