Environmental Health and Safety Services is dedicated to helping create a safe and secure campus environment that is conducive to education, research, life, and work.

The primary objectives of EHSS are to provide environmental health and safety information to the University campus community, to provide guidance on regulations, and to administer programs which ensure regulatory compliance. Services provided by EHSS include: responding to life safety, occupational health, and environmental inquiries, spills, and emergencies; providing environmental health and safety related training sessions; and conducting compliance inspections within the work place.

EHSS employs a diversified staff of life safety, occupational health, and environmental professionals who develop and maintain programs designed to address the needs of the University community.
